Kerry
Ward draws upon a deep entrepreneurial background in his role
as the CEO of QuPeople. As a founder of multiple companies, he
is experienced in leading teams, forming business units and processes,
negotiating partnerships, handling staffing issues and being accountable
to shareholder/investor groups. Other areas of expertise include
business development, marketing, and leadership training and organizational
development. As a cofounder and member of the Board of Directors
for iPal, Inc., Kerry was part of the executive team and was also
responsible for handling business development and strategic alliances
for the company. He signed deals with iPal's largest customers
and was responsible for venture funding initiatives, enabling
the company to finance rapid product development during a depressed
financing market.
Prior
to co-founding iPal, Kerry cofounded Tech Tactics, a technical
service company that provided technical training and leadership
focusing on a methodology called ADIS (Architecture and Design
of Integrated Systems). Customers included Hughes Space and Communications/Raytheon
and the LAPD.
Kerry
has worked as an independent consultant leading successful marketing
teams for companies such as Andrew Joseph & Company. He also founded
his own telecommunications company, Worldwide Networks, while
living in New York. In New York he also worked as VP of Marketing
for MusicLine. Kerry has a degree in General Studies from the
University of Michigan where he also played on the U of M Men's
Soccer Team.
Kerry
is an adventurer at heart whose hobbies include motorcycling,
swing dancing, marathon running and travel. He is currently authoring
a book called Live Light, which is a guide to staying upbeat in
our chaotic world.
